EDI Integration
J-Lab has successfully created integration API bridges, both inbound (e.g. incoming orders) and outbound (e.g. invoices and advance ship notices), between Trading Partner® and our clients' existing business systems. Some common systems that we have interfaced with include SAP, MAS90, PEACHTREE, ACCPAC and QUICKBOOKS.
We have also created custom API’s for dozens of home grown systems. We sit with our client's IT staff and mutually agree on acceptable data structures to support the passing of information back and forth between the EDI system and their back-end business applications.

For those who don’t want or can’t have system interfaces, we’ve built completely standalone systems to support full function EDI inbound and outbound processing. We meet with our client and study their business operations in depth to come up with the best solution for their operational environment. ASNs, UCC-128 shipping labels and VICS Bill of Lading
Merchandise can be packed and shipped in several ways. Shipments can be made to:
- a retailer's distribution centers in bulk
- a retailer's distribution center but packed for individual store
- a retailer's stores directly goods can be packed:
- in standard case packs with a single SKU per carton
- in pick and pack mode with a mix of SKUs in a carton

We have customized systems to handle any combination of these scenarios. These systems range from minimal data entry packages for shipment of standard case pack merchandise to more complex systems that force scanning of every item as they are packed into shipping cartons. We meet with your warehouse staff to be sure that they are comfortable with the operational plan we provide for them.

We have developed UCC-128 compliance labels for most major retailers in the United States. Label printing can be modified to meet your operational requirements. Many clients print their shipping labels in batch mode for the entire shipment or by individual distribution centers. Other clients print individual labels as they seal and ship each carton.

UPC / GTIN Numbers
We can generate UPC numbers for your products at the item/color/size level. We provide data entry screens that will allow you to select from the various size matrices and our system will generate as many numbers as required based on the colors and sizes you’ve selected.
