Who We Are

In 1994 our CEO, KG Charles-Harris, and our Chief Scientist, Knut Oygardslia, realized that large telecommunication providers in Scandinavia were struggling with moving electronic commerce data into their ERP systems. EMANIO was born out of a shared vision to help these companies seamlessly integrate and use commerce data to make faster, better business decisions. EMANIO is the latin word for flow and radiate, and is the base for English words such as emanate, emancipate and emit. It's the flow and use of data that drives us to help our clients. Since then EMANIO's vision has evolved around a short but critical set of core values:

These values have allowed us to work with clients that have spanned the gamut from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies like IBM, Citicorp and Kaiser Aluminum and local government agencies like the County of Alameda and the Chicago Public School district.

We price our products fairly and in an easy to understand fashion and we champion agile development and deployment methodologies because they save our clients money.

The industries we serve We talk to anyone who is interested, but we are just as likely to tell you "no thank you" as much as we are to say "yes." Our products
EMANIO's product family is focused on three areas: data management, dashboarding and reporting and predictive analytics. In each area we strive to create products that push the boundaries of what "easy to use" means and that still provide the power and tools our clients need to get the job done. We empower business users and shift workload away from the IT department while still providing the security and control IT needs to comply with mandates.

How we work
You don't have time to waste. That's why we use a unique parallel deployment methodology that allows us to work in tandem with our clients from the very start of a project. That means that we get done faster, we spend less of your money, and by the end of the project you gain at least two internal resources who have been fully trained on our product and who can become productive immediately.

Where we work
While EMANIO has its roots in Scandinavia, our current business model is almost entirely US-focused. We welcome inquiries from international clients but put most of our energies on growing our US customer base both directly and with partners.
